Only seconds out of the grave and with Diana unconscious, Artemis finds herself ambushed by a strange group of warriors. She rescues a female security officer named Hank Jessup in the process just as more and more of the warriors arrive. She is offered a spot on a covert, demon-hunting team and travels to Pennsylvania to meet their leader Nathaniel and his right hand woman Shock Treatment but all is not as it seems.
